A Thousand Li: The Second Storm

The sixth book of A Thousand Li opens with Long Wu Ying continuing his work as a traveling herb gatherer for Verdant Green Waters and its allies amid an ongoing war. Returning from a delivery, he learns that the sect was attacked in his absence by a Dark Sect force aided by traitors from within, leaving elders and disciples dead, the outer-sect library burned, and his martial sister Fa Yuan taken captive as bait for a larger trap. Forbidden by sect leadership from attempting a rescue, an enraged Wu Ying must reckon with the scale of the sect's losses while searching for a way to grow strong enough to act.
