Bitten characters

By Kelley Armstrong

Every entry below is hidden until you open it, and each names the chapter the character first appears in.

Elena Michaels (Protagonist)

Appears from the start

The world's only known female werewolf, living in Toronto and trying to pass as human. Elena works as a journalist, shares a home with her boyfriend Philip, and slips away in secret when she must Change. She has kept her Pack, her history with Clay, and the truth of what she is outside the life she is building.

Philip McAdams (Supporting)

Appears from the start

Elena's human boyfriend in Toronto. Philip is affectionate, sociable, and eager for their relationship to become more settled, but he knows nothing about werewolves or the part of Elena's life she hides from him.

Jeremy Danvers (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 3

The Alpha of the North American werewolf Pack and master of Stonehaven. Jeremy is controlled, observant, and protective of those under his authority. He summons Elena home when killings near Pack territory suggest that rogue werewolves are deliberately creating trouble.

Clayton Danvers (Supporting)

Also known as Clay

First appears in chapter 3

Jeremy's foster son and the Pack's most feared enforcer. Clay is fiercely loyal to Jeremy, territorial, and far more comfortable with werewolf rules than human ones. He and Elena have an intense shared history that she has tried to leave behind.

Logan Jonsen (Supporting)

Also known as Logan

First appears in chapter 4

A Pack werewolf and one of Elena's most trusted friends. Logan has maintained contact during her Toronto life, listening without pushing her to return and acting as a gentler link to the family at Stonehaven.

Nick Sorrentino (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 5

A warm, easygoing Pack member who grew up close to Clay. Nick lacks Clay's severity and treats Elena with uncomplicated affection, but he answers Jeremy's summons and takes the threat from the mutts seriously.

Antonio Sorrentino (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 5

Nick's father and an experienced Pack werewolf. Antonio is steady, practical, and loyal to Jeremy, bringing patience and long familiarity with Pack politics to the hunt for the rogues.

Peter Myers (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 5

A quiet Pack member called back to Stonehaven during the crisis. Peter is dependable in the field and part of the small circle Elena once regarded as her family, even after she chose to live apart from them.

Daniel Santos (Antagonist)

First appears in chapter 14

A rogue werewolf with an old grievance against the Pack. Daniel is educated, patient, and able to move comfortably among humans. Unlike the violent recruits around him, he is pursuing a calculated campaign aimed at Jeremy, Clay, and Elena.

Zachary Cain (Antagonist)

First appears in chapter 14

A large, aggressive rogue werewolf drawn into Daniel's campaign. Cain relies on strength and intimidation and is willing to attack Pack territory rather than follow the rules that normally keep werewolves hidden from humans.

Thomas LeBlanc (Antagonist)

First appears in chapter 20

One of Daniel's recruits, a human predator newly given a werewolf's power. LeBlanc is cruel, unstable, and interested in the freedom to hunt people, making him dangerous both to Elena and to the secrecy on which every werewolf depends.
