She hunts, she climbs, and she is entangled with a lover whose personality is increasingly borrowed.

Keeper of the scarlet dragon Heeby, and the keeper who has gone furthest into the memories held in Kelsingra's stone. He speaks with the authority of an Elderling warrior dead for centuries, dresses and fights as that man did, and has begun applying that man's ideas about enemies and justice to the people around him.
