The second entry in Welcome to the Multiverse follows Silas as he seeks faster-than-commercial transport to reach a meeting of Earth's four Forerunners in Paris, catching a ride with a Krembori ship monitoring Earth in exchange for study of his abilities. In Paris he meets fellow Forerunners Annika, Nuri, and Jiang, learns that a colleague named Emil Larsson has remained in prison under suspicious circumstances despite being able to escape, and agrees to investigate using his Charisma. Back on Earth, House Raiden offers Silas mentorship instead of a corporate sponsorship; he accepts, pledging himself as outer family to the clan's Samvek. Samvek then leads Silas and his teammates on an overloaded, undead-infested graveyard dungeon mission meant to sharpen Silas's combat skills beyond his usual reliance on charisma and control magic, pitting the party against increasingly dangerous drones and a linked guardian mini-boss.
