Dawn of the Density God

By ToraAKR

Dawn of the Density God opens as Jiran, a village boy of Feylon, undergoes his coming-of-age tiering ceremony and finds it going catastrophically wrong: his converted mana disappears into an unexplained anomaly at the base of his neck, and he wakes with fragmented memories belonging to a dead man from Earth. Marked as possibly denless and feared as a future beast, Jiran is nearly killed by his own mother and forced to flee his family's home while the village and its priests turn against him. He is taken in by Feylon Samris, a powerful noble magistrate who has a Unique ability of his own and offers Jiran a protected position in his household in exchange for questions and non-invasive study of his condition. Under Samris's care Jiran begins recovering and slowly learning to consciously direct his density-to-mana conversion, all while the years-long army service oath he swore still hangs over his future.
