An apparently mortal child protected by Fertile Earth priests becomes Zac’s escort objective after technocrats pursue the group. The child shows awareness of Zac beyond the identity he occupies in the memory and speaks to him in an ancient voice.

A weakened fate-calculating cultivator from the Radiant Temple, the numerologist is beside Ogras when Zac emerges from the Fertile Earth memory.

The covert heir behind a mining expedition, the Whitecrest scion seeks an ancient array-breaking inheritance as an offering to a powerful patron. The scion joins Zac and Ogras in a forced descent into the Muddy Patch under the watch of two Void Heralds.

A senior member of the Wendemar clan whose Dao avatar intervenes against the Serpico guildmaster. He recognizes that Zac bears a foreign temporal connection to the clan seal and concludes that Zac comes from another time.

Zac's disciple and an Atwood combat leader, Emily appears through the identity of an Order of Dawn infiltrator caught inside a cult's sun-deity ritual. With embedded Templars exposed as sacrifices, she must decide how to aid the surviving infiltrators.
Royal trial taker (Antagonist)
First appears in chapter 62
A claimant from the ruling dynasty, this trial taker uses a key relic and ancient arcana to corrupt a memory lantern. He is attempting to redirect the trial's fate toward his own prospective path to imperial power.
Dharmic envoy (Supporting)

A high-level Buddhist warrior, the envoy interrupts the royal claimant's manipulation of a memory lantern. The envoy's faction seeks to free spirits that continue unnaturally within the trial's inner memory layer.
Kruta (Supporting)
First appears in chapter 63
A member of Zac's cycle, Kruta appears within the memory as an orc army inspector working beside Joanna. Together they investigate how a noble officer's leak led rebels to ambush an elite battalion and kill tens of thousands of Imperial soldiers.
Realm Keeper observer (Supporting)
First appears in chapter 64
An unnamed traveller operating a modified Realm Keeper orb, the observer contacts a temporal scholar and warns that the scholar's planned prototype will erase an academy. The observer demonstrates the predicted disaster through an elaborate temporal experience.
