Glass World

Glass World continues James McGill's career in the Legion as an unauthorized contact leads him to a distant, wrecked alien site tied to a secretive rebel faction and a hostile predator. The mission draws him into conflict with his own chain of command over the secrecy of his source, even as the physical evidence he recovers ties Rigelian armor technology back to the same alien species, the Skae. As McGill juggles personal and political entanglements at Central, a second, higher-stakes expedition is ordered to a distant world believed to hold the material behind that technology, sending Legion Varus into hostile territory aboard a captured, refitted enemy warship.
