Green World

Green World follows James McGill as he investigates a string of thefts from Central's supply docks tied to the resettlement of displaced aliens on Earth. Working the case alone and against orders, he traces the smuggling operation to a hidden transport device that pulls him off-world entirely, onto a planet stockpiled with weapons and equipment sized for a large, unknown military force. There he crosses paths with a familiar contact from his past and a renegade mercenary commander with his own agenda, setting off a chain of dangerous encounters that eventually sends McGill on a desperate effort to help a colleague pursue an unorthodox, legally questionable revival for someone she loved.
