Welcome to the Multiverse opens with Silas Renner, a 22-year-old who has put his own plans on hold to support his family, moving into a shed on his late uncle's property to satisfy the terms of a will that promises to solve their financial troubles. The shed turns out to be a gateway into a hidden system that has quietly threaded through Earth's history, and Silas finds himself fighting off a mutated creature, inheriting his uncle's incomplete legacy, and accepting induction as one of Earth's forerunners in a competition that will determine humanity's fate as the world approaches full integration into a wider multiverse. Sent on his first trial with a strict time limit, Silas must master unfamiliar abilities, survive hostile creatures, and work with strangers he meets along the way to secure his place and protect the world he left behind.
