Life Reset: Conquest

By Shemer Kuznits

The fifth New Era Online novel finds Oren returning to the game after a real-world recovery period, resuming command of his goblin settlement, GreenPiece, and its expanding, recently conquered territory. With his advisors and daughter Lirian at his side, Oren sets his sights on a distant target city while first working to secure nearby strongholds, expand his forces, and build a network of magical portals between his shrines using increasingly costly rituals. When one of his new settlements turns out to be plagued by a dangerous, demon-corrupted infestation, Oren leads an underground campaign to clear it, testing his growing magical power against a monstrous queen at its source. Throughout, Oren balances the practical demands of running and defending a growing goblin nation with the personal stakes of protecting his family and the other trapped players who depend on him.
