For the first time in years he has nothing to do and no crew around him, and he spends the time helping Fred Johnson with Outer Planets Alliance business he would rather not be part of.

The Rocinante's executive officer and engineer, and Holden's partner. A Belter who has spent fifteen years not talking about the life she had before the ice hauler, she receives a message from that life while the ship is in dock and leaves to answer it without explaining where she is going.
