Ruin

By Nicoli Gonnella

The twelfth entry in the series opens after the cataclysm called Moonfall, as the Hierophant, having survived the destruction of her city, steals the failing power of a weakened moon goddess while another object approaches from the sky. Meanwhile, Felix and his allies bury their war dead and celebrate their hard-won victory over the Hierophant, but Felix's attention turns immediately to Vessilia Dayne, missing since Moonfall struck the unstable realm of Amaranth. Assembling an expedition of Unbound companions, dragoons, and allied fighters, Felix sails back into the devastated, reality-warping ruins of Amaranth to find her, navigating collapsing terrain, hostile anomalies born of unstable magic, and the fractured remains of the realm's shattered order in a race to reach her before the instability consumes everything.
