A fully bound Druid who has escaped Loki's mark and approaches the final conflict on her own terms. Accompanied by Orlaith, she judges alliances and consequences independently rather than allowing Atticus to choose her part in Ragnarok.

Atticus's archdruid and the founder of a new modern grove. His concern for the Druids he has begun to train gives him a future to defend as Loki's war threatens both divine realms and ordinary Earth.

Atticus's telepathic Irish wolfhound and longest-standing companion. He remains beside Atticus as divine conflict replaces evasion, offering sharp senses, loyalty, and a reason to preserve ordinary life amid the plans of gods.

Granuaile's telepathic Irish wolfhound. She accompanies Granuaile into the crisis and depends on her Druid for protection while contributing senses and warnings unavailable to the human members of their alliances.

The Norse trickster whose escape after the assault on Asgard has matured into an attempt to bring about Ragnarok. He exploits old prophecies and divisions among pantheons while directing forces capable of devastating more than the Norse realms.

The sovereign of the Tuatha De Danann, responsible for protecting the Irish gods and the Fae domains. Ragnarok forces her to decide how much support to give Atticus when the danger crosses pantheon boundaries.

The chief of the Norse gods and a principal target of the forces gathered for Ragnarok. Thor's earlier death has already altered the expected defense of Asgard, increasing the importance of whatever allies Odin can still assemble.

Loki's daughter and ruler of a realm of the dead. Her command of supernatural forces makes her an essential part of the apocalyptic coalition opposing the Norse gods and their allies.
