The Republic secures only a small fraction of the Katana dreadnaughts. Thrawn takes the great majority and reveals that he can crew them with rapidly produced clones, converting the legendary fleet into the foundation of a much larger Imperial offensive. The heroes have gained allies and exposed several deceptions, but the military balance shifts sharply toward Thrawn.
