A woman from 1960s New York, drawn into Mid-World and long since made whole, a gunslinger married to Eddie. Fierce and steady, she has endured being ridden by the being Mia and now fights to reunite the ka-tet and reach the Tower.

The great enemy of the Tower, a mad and monstrous being who rules the Tower's servants from a distant castle and works to bring down the Beams that hold all worlds together. He is the ultimate power set against Roland's quest, wanting the ruin of everything the gunslinger would preserve.

Mordred Deschain (Antagonist)

Appears from the start

The demon-fathered child born at the crossing point of the quest, claimed by two dark bloodlines and able to take the form of a monstrous spider. Both heir and hunter, he is drawn to stalk Roland's ka-tet across the last stretch of the road, a threat that grows as he does.
