A bold, sharp-tongued young woman from a distant northern land, traveling as a Hunter for the Horn of Valere in search of adventure and glory. Proud and headstrong, she attaches herself to Perrin's party, quick to test him and to trade barbs, hiding more of her background than she admits.

The fiery-eyed enemy who has stalked Rand's dreams since the beginning, claiming to be the Dark One or his greatest servant. Twice seemingly defeated, he continues to hunt the Dragon Reborn through the world of dreams and to weave traps in the waking one.
