A sharp, guarded high-school senior who dislikes parties and resists the social ranking that dominates her classmates' lives. She loves her two closest friends but privately compares herself with them, a vulnerability that Wesley exposes with an insulting label.

Wesley Rush (Supporting)

A popular and self-assured classmate known for brief romances and an ability to charm almost anyone. He approaches Bianca at a club because he thinks befriending her will help him reach her more conventionally attractive friends.

Casey Blithe (Supporting)

One of Bianca's two best friends, confident, protective, and comfortable in the social world Bianca finds exhausting. She values Bianca for herself and does not share Bianca's harsh view of her own place in their group.
