A living vampire who manages Piscary's restaurant and has a long, complicated history with Ivy. Kisten is socially adept and outwardly relaxed, but his position leaves him answerable to an undead master.

The demon whose name and bargains Rachel encountered during her struggle with Trent. Al offers access to knowledge ordinary witches cannot supply, but his assistance is structured to leave Rachel owing him more than she intended.

An elf held as Algaliarept's familiar for centuries. Ceri retains exceptional knowledge of ley-line and demon magic despite the damage of prolonged captivity, and Rachel recognizes that helping her will directly challenge Al's ownership.
