The Primal Hunter 11

By Zogarth

The eleventh book in The Primal Hunter series follows Jake's party as they split up to pursue separate trials inside Nevermore's challenge dungeons after clearing the event's fastest floors. Jake enters the Colosseum of Mortals, a level-zero combat trial that strips away his equipment and most of his abilities, and works his way up its ranks through unarmed, deliberately nonlethal fighting, developing a new fear-based technique along the way. His rise brings him against a string of unusually powerful opponents, including a mysterious, unbeaten monk whose soul-based defense forces Jake to abandon his self-imposed restrictions. Meanwhile, Jake's freed elven attendant Mira returns to publicly reclaim standing over the clan she came from, determined to protect her struggling family and let its members shape their own paths forward.
