The god of the sun, music, and prophecy, and Artemis's twin brother. Cheerful and boastful, fond of composing bad poetry, he gives the young heroes a ride in his sun chariot and offers help within the limits the gods place on themselves, worried for his missing sister.

The Titan of endurance, condemned after the ancient war to hold up the sky for eternity. Freed of that burden by trickery, he serves as the commanding general of the Titan lord's rising forces. Cruel and immensely strong, he directs the enemy's plans and seeks to break the gods by using the very sky he once carried.

A demigod son of Hermes who serves the reviving Titan lord Kronos. He has lured Annabeth into a trap and works alongside the Titan general at a mountain stronghold to raise a fortress and turn the coming war against the gods. Ruthless yet still tormented, he remains a painful figure to Annabeth and Thalia, who once knew him well.
