Felix Nevarre (Protagonist)

Also known as Felix, Blue-Eyed Fiend

Appears from the start

A formidable fighter whose primordial nature and return to Harwatch threaten the Archon's plans. He is tied to the Nemean legacy and stands among the few people the newly freed construct considers a serious obstacle.

Pit (Supporting)

Appears from the start

Felix's bonded Tenku companion, linked closely to his survival and able to aid him both directly and through their shared spiritual connection. Pit is an established partner rather than a mount or pet, and the bond makes each central to the other's safety.

A'zek (Supporting)

Appears from the start

A speaking chimera who guards a Foglands valley alongside an older companion. When a formerly active mountain domain falls unnaturally silent and then ruptures, A'zek investigates the danger, retreats from the creatures spilling out, and seeks to warn the Henaari.

The Archon (Antagonist)

Appears from the start

A golden armored construct that breaks free of confinement beneath a mountain. It commands Archids, postpones an attack on Harwatch while Felix remains there, and sends its forces to find a temple hidden behind a waterfall.

Zara Cyrene (Supporting)

Also known as Anna

First appears in chapter 2

A Cantus Sodalus chanter who has used the identity Anna and a changed appearance. She mentors Felix, reports his unusual condition to her order, and learns that surviving Inquisition members intend to report Harwatch's fall in Setoria.

Hector (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 2

A sigilder who assists Felix with restoring Harwatch’s damaged wall arrays. He is married to Nia and is Amaya’s father.

Vessilia Dayne (Supporting)

Also known as Vess

First appears in chapter 3

A spear-wielding ally of Felix who leads rescue work in damaged Harwatch. Her heightened perception locates trapped survivors and hidden threats, while her manifested weapons help contain monsters emerging beneath the city.

Evie Aren (Supporting)

Also known as Evie

First appears in chapter 4

A highly mobile fighter in Felix's circle who is advancing her inner training while Harwatch recovers. Her effort to untangle an Acrobatics-related obstruction in her core leaves her with severe pain but marks real progress.

Harn (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 4

A scarred veteran who trains Evie and answers Cal's call during Harwatch's rebuilding. He brings hard-earned combat experience to the city's defense effort and expects demanding inner work from those he teaches, even when the process is painful.

Cal (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 5

The Lady of Harwatch and holder of the city's territorial authority. She is still learning the damaged seat's functions when a territory quest directs her to eliminate an unidentified hostile neighbor.

Atar V'as (Supporting)

Also known as Atar

First appears in chapter 5

A fire mage and sigildry specialist who works with Alistair on Harwatch's defenses and waterworks planning as the damaged city prepares for further threats. He joins the discussion when Cal's new territory quest forces Harwatch to choose how it will answer danger beyond its walls.

Alistair (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 5

A fellow sigildry specialist who works with Atar V'as. He assists with the magical and practical planning needed to restore Harwatch's defenses and water system, then takes part in Cal's council as the city weighs the Archon against the threat of an Inquisition report.

Kelgan (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 5

A Haarguard spearman involved in Harwatch's rebuilding and defense. He works alongside Bodhi and Yan in the city's newly organized guard as Cal confronts a territory quest and the possibility of enemies approaching from more than one direction.

Kylar (Minor)

First appears in chapter 7

A Haarguard trainee who watches Felix enter Harwatch Manor's golem chamber and ask to face its strongest constructs without weapons.

Nevia (Minor)

First appears in chapter 7

A Haarguard trainee present when Felix challenges the training facility's most dangerous available golems. Nevia is part of the new city guard being developed while Harwatch restores its defenses and prepares for threats outside the damaged walls.

Kikri (Minor)

First appears in chapter 7

A Haarguard trainee who observes Felix enter the manor's golem chamber to test himself against its constructs. Kikri belongs to the developing city guard, whose members are training while Harwatch rebuilds and faces the prospect of another major attack.

Vyne Pallas (Minor)

First appears in chapter 7

A Haarguard trainee introduced among the guards who witness Felix test his strength against Harwatch Manor's golems. Vyne Pallas is part of the force Cal is building to defend Harwatch as the city's damaged arrays and breached wall are restored.

Vellus (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 7

A lost divine power connected to Felix through a shard he took from her. The fragment is embedded in his altered development and reacts within his two named cores, but its effect on his weaving stage and the changes caused by his primordial nature remain uncertain.

Darius Reed (Supporting)

Also known as Reed, Hand of Pax Rell

First appears in chapter 9

The Duke of Pax Rell's Hand and Vessilia Dayne's appointed protector. Although still recovering, he trains and insists that his standing orders require him to escort Vess home now that she has reached Journeyman tier.

First appears in chapter 11

A Fiend’s Legion recruit in the Blades faction who wants to defend Harwatch rather than simply follow Felix.

Ifre (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 28

A Henaari guard at the concealed sanctuary. She helps confront and detain Felix after Wyvora guides his wounded party through the settlement's layered illusions and defenses. Felix's refusal to be separated from his companions brings him into direct conflict with her group.

The Far Walker (Supporting)

A Henaari figure whose companion, A'zek, ensures that Felix's wounded party receives guest protection and healing before taking Felix to meet him.

The Endless Raven (Supporting)

An Urge revered by the Henaari and driven to seek hidden or lost things. It receives Felix inside a dangerous trial realm, accepts objects he uncovers as offerings, and then demands the key he carries.

Caryatid Anima (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 42

The immense, failing spirit tree within the Nevis vault. Attuned to life, water, light, and shadow, the Caryatid Anima stands immobile when Felix first encounters it and tries to reach it through Communion.

Karys Taiv (Supporting)

Also known as Eidolon of Nevis

First appears in chapter 42

An ancient Nym guardian awakened in the ruined Nevis vault. Though corrosion has left his Eidolon body immobile, he recognizes Felix as the site's inheritor and offers guidance and service. A stored memory identifies him as the mortal Paragon who voluntarily became this guardian.

Whalemaw (Antagonist)

First appears in chapter 47

A mountainous void predator with many maws and a corrupt crimson mana signature. Its arrival scatters lesser creatures as it begins hunting Zara Cyrene's vulnerable company in a liminal passage.

Vvim (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 49

A figure connected to the mud-covered Muckminder that guards a bone bridge. When Felix destroys the guardian's artificial core, he preserves a memory from Vvim but has not yet examined it.
