A Curse for True Love characters
Every entry below is hidden until you open it, and each names the chapter the character first appears in.
Evangeline Fox (Protagonist)
Appears from the start
She begins this book with no memory of the Magnificent North, of the bargain she made with a Fate, or of anything that followed it. What she has instead is a life she believes is hers: a husband she loves, a past that hangs together, and a settled certainty about who her enemies are. Nothing in it invites questions, and the few details that do not quite fit are easy enough to set aside.
Prince Apollo (Supporting)
Appears from the start
In the life Evangeline remembers, he is her husband and the man she loves, attentive and entirely unquestioned. She has no memory of how she actually came to be beside him, and nothing she can recall contradicts the version she has been given.
Jacks
Also known as The Prince of Hearts
First appears in chapter 3
One of the Fates, immortal and lethal to anyone he kisses. In the account of events Evangeline has been given, he is the monster who tried to destroy her, and she has no memory that would argue otherwise. He has not stopped trying to reach her.
The Fallen Star
First appears in chapter 20
One of the Fates, an immortal out of the same old stories as the Prince of Hearts. His concerns run through the history of the Magnificent North and, less obviously, through Evangeline's own.
Marisol (Minor)
Appears from the start
Evangeline's stepsister, turned to stone at her own wedding in Valenda by the bargain Evangeline made in the first book. She has not been restored.
Luc Navarro (Minor)
Appears from the start
The man Evangeline once loved, turned to stone beside Marisol at their wedding and still a monument in Valenda.
