Bondsfungi

By Sarah Lin

Continuing the Weirkey Chronicles, Theo works to complete his soul-home's third floor and gather rare materials ahead of a ruling-city war games competition roughly six months away, while quietly hoping to reconnect with the reclusive House of the Lost. Meanwhile his companion Nauda struggles with a soul-home badly damaged in an earlier battle, and finds it infected by a fast-spreading, kante-feeding fungus that resists ordinary treatment. As Nauda seeks a cure, she uncovers evidence that House Crimson has been provoking the wild tribes near their home city of Norro Yorthin, and a strange cult accuses her of being an outsider from beyond the Nine Worlds.
