A roaming guardian in Belrise's altered dungeon. It can break mage shields, inflict a disabling fear-like effect, and is deterred by sustained fire.

the dirty-boy healer (Supporting)

A hidden Belrise healer known to academy students by a nickname and reputed to provide treatment beyond the ability of the temple clerics. The healer's precise identity is still unknown.

the wood nymph healer (Supporting)

A wood nymph living secretly in Belrise who uses earth and plant magic to heal a wounded student. She has known Carrie since childhood and begins following his party west through connected roots.
