After intensive training, he returns to organize U.S. cooperation and Crembori asylum. A hell-mana weapon kills Silas and Jiang Bai, but Silas revives them both; together they destroy the foreign portal, and Jiang becomes an ally. The Sect of the Veiled Infinity then cleanses Silas and guides him through rare racial evolution. Silas forms a rare class core and enters the Wild Hunt at level 83 while Earth ranks fourth. At the final moment Emil Larsson dies, and Asta inherits his position as an Earth Forerunner.

Previously: Silas Renner became an Earth Forerunner and gained powers tied to the system governing a competition among worlds. His activities connected Earth to Galen, the Rayden clan, and the Crembori, whose displaced crew received asylum from him. Earth faced an approaching induction deadline, while the larger contest made preparation, alliances, and control of portals increasingly urgent. Silas returned to Earth with unusual abilities, off-world companions, and knowledge he could not freely disclose to uninducted people. His family remained vulnerable.

Silas discovers that mana is changing his sister as public reports confirm monsters and altered terrain around Oslo. With the Crembori monitoring her, he travels to Norway and joins three civilians heading into the crisis: Asta seeks her father, Henrik his wife and children, and Dutch his daughter. Asta resists Silas's supernatural influence and has troubling gaps in her memory. Silas later identifies her father as Emil Larsson, a Forerunner linked to the secret laboratory at the center of the Oslo event. The travelers survive attacks by transformed animals, and Silas converts their ruined vehicle into a mana-powered car. At a military roadblock, flying creatures tear into the group. Henrik falls and suffers fatal injuries, but Silas restores him before his soul is lost. Asta kills a wounded monster with a simple metal weapon, triggering her induction into the system while soldiers and civilians wait to learn whether she will survive the process.

Asta completes induction, learns the truth Silas was forbidden to tell her, and receives a powerful title because she is Emil Larsson's daughter. She joins Silas's home team and develops a beast-focused class with golden wings. Henrik leaves with the military to seek his family, while Silas, Asta, and Dutch enter Oslo to rescue Dutch's daughter. Asta tames a sparrow for scouting, and Dutch undergoes induction so he can protect Katie. The university dormitory becomes the Mousetrap dungeon around them. Silas and Asta navigate its traps, cage the giant boss, and then face a divided challenge: Silas must win a mana-locked duel while Asta survives waves of mice below. Silas kills the boss from within using the Hellfire Orb, breaks into Asta's arena, and helps clear the final wave. The first-clear rewards greatly advance Silas, Asta, and Dutch, but every surviving civilian must now be inducted within a day or become mana-infected. The group leaves for Bergen with Katie alive and Dutch equipped as her defender.

Silas returns home to find Cecilia close to lethal mana infection and a proto-dungeon forming nearby. He weakens transformed squirrels so she can kill them, and her induction saves her life. A speaking squirrel boss then challenges Silas for control of the dungeon seed. During the fight, Silas's Eidolon Erg returns in an evolved body and helps kill the boss. Silas accepts a dangerous evolution from its blood, gaining the ability to absorb mana outside ordinary system channels, and receives control of the seed Earth-9. His new instincts and powers remain uncertain. When more squirrels attack the house, Cecilia's fire magic nearly burns it, but Silas contains the damage. He also inducts Officers Johnson and Smith, gives them limited system guidance, and obtains oaths that they will defend his family and share the knowledge carefully. Johnson forms a warrior-heavy core, Smith a rogue-mage core, and Cecilia completes a fire-focused core. Silas leaves behind a small inducted defense group while retaining home-team places for family.

Back on Galen, Silas finds Anwich blockaded by Transhek while Acme and Bymorte compete for influence. Samvek frames the crisis as a choice between rebellion and binding agreements, and Silas receives a mission that can be completed by breaking the blockade or contracting with all three corporations. His new evolution proves unstable during training: feral instincts overwhelm him, and he directly drains mana from Samvek's weapon. Talia finds damage around his core, while Silas secretly learns that a non-system class has begun forming. He negotiates with Bymorte under the pressure of a trust-inducing aura and an addictive charisma pendant. The resulting unsigned deal grants Bymorte limited territorial access to Earth in exchange for credits, evolution resources, materials, and commercial limits, without giving it control of the whole planet. Talia then supervises Silas's first racial evolution. Exceptional resonance changes him from Homo sapiens to Homo inspiratus and improves his body, senses, spirit, and statistics. With the contract judged sound, Samvek proposes sabotaging a Transhek manorship before Silas approaches Acme.

A Rayden strike force boards a Transhek carrier to destroy its mana drive. The epic executive Thelmin Araskin ambushes them, badly wounds a fighter, and destroys Erg's manifested body during his final death, though Erg can return. Samvek remains aboard long enough to drive the carrier into a dreadnought, survives the collision, and leaves a catastrophic mana field behind. Silas absorbs much of that energy to protect the shuttle's passengers, gaining a space affinity while increasing the strain on his core. In a protected dungeon, he negotiates with Acme and signs both corporate contracts, obtaining technology, manuals, mana collectors, evolution materials, credits, and bounded commercial terms without awarding exclusive control of Earth. Returning to Anwich, Silas defeats Transhek security chief Bek in a Guild-regulated duel. He then completes his mission through a three-party agreement with Transhek and the Adventurers Guild. Transhek receives restricted Galen trade access but must supply equipment, ship components, and regulated forces. The Guild promises mentors, protection, and portal resources for Earth. The blockade crisis ends through enforceable obligations rather than corporate ownership of Earth.

Silas selects evolution resources as his mission reward and gathers the technology and equipment promised under the Galen agreements. He and Samvek enter a powerful time-dilation field for more than a year of subjective training. Silas develops stealth, weapons, force constructs, teleportation, resurrection, life magic, and control over his feral instincts, but postpones forming his rare core. On returning to Earth, he finds national agents waiting. He refuses detention and forces a direct meeting with U.S. leadership while avoiding casualties. Officer Smith joins his home team to guard his family. Silas also inducts Crembori crew member Dan Orr, who becomes the proposed envoy for thousands of Crembori refugees traveling toward Earth. At the White House, Dan presents their peaceful asylum request and technological capabilities. The President authorizes a joint expedition to Oslo as proof of Silas's warnings. General Krulak, military personnel, law-enforcement officials, and a Justice Department representative travel with Silas aboard a Crembori ship. The secret first contact is cooperative but provisional, and Oslo will test whether the government accepts the scale of the threat.

The U.S. delegation witnesses electronics failing near Oslo and conventional weapons struggling against mana-woven creatures. Silas arranges controlled kills so the observers can undergo induction, and General Krulak joins his home team. Asta arrives with powerful tamed animals, accepts help for her class path, and insists on meeting Emil alone. Silas then seeks an alliance with Jiang Bai in China. A foreign hell-mana weapon detonates at their meeting, killing both men and opening a breach. Silas revives himself through Halo of Rebirth and restores Jiang, though a spiritual curse initially remains. They enter the hostile pocket realm beyond the portal, where spirit singing removes Jiang's curse and the two Forerunners fight with exceptional coordination. Silas absorbs part of a devil evolution but receives warnings that corruption could take him outside the system. Jiang holds the defenders while Silas disrupts the portal ritual. After killing the remaining guards, they damage the portal and escape to Earth. The closure earns Earth 750,000 world points. Jiang trusts Silas, acknowledges the two rescues, and commits to stand with him in the Wild Hunt, while the source of the bomb remains unknown.

Silas expands Earth's training network around his home and General Krulak's California camp while the Crembori protect his mother in stasis and begin sharing safe technologies. Jiang reports that Nuri is training a self-described holy army in the desert, and both men suspect Anika of arranging the hell-mana attack without proof. Shortly before the Wild Hunt, Silas enters Kimbora with help from the Sect of the Veiled Infinity. In return, he promises the sect permission to establish an Earth chapter after induction. A legendary guide removes Silas's hell corruption but warns that the bomb may have weakened dimensional barriers. Silas completes successive uncommon and rare racial evolutions with Erg's participation, becoming Homo inspiratus prime and gaining a unique bond between flesh and spirit. Back on Earth, he links allied alien soldiers, Cecilia, Krulak, inducted forces, and Crembori engineers. He forms a rare class core and reaches level 83. Earth remains fourth in world points as Silas is summoned to the Wild Hunt. At that instant Emil Larsson dies, and the inheritance protocol names Asta as a new Earth Forerunner. The cause of Emil's death is not known.

Silas returns from Kimbora as Homo inspiratus prime, completes a rare class core, and reaches level 83 just before the Wild Hunt. Earth remains fourth in world points, but its defenses now include Cecilia's local group, General Krulak's expanding training force, Jiang's alliance, alien soldiers, and Crembori technical support. Silas enters the Hunt while keeping unassigned stat points available. At the same moment, Emil Larsson dies and the inheritance protocol transfers his Earth Forerunner status to Asta. The cause of Emil's death and Asta's immediate circumstances are unknown. Anika remains at large and is only suspected of arranging the hell-mana attack. Nuri's desert army is still unexplained. The arriving Crembori refugees, Oslo's continuing transformation, the obligations created by Silas's Galen contracts, and the promised Earth chapter of the Sect of the Veiled Infinity all remain open. The China breach is sealed and Silas's corruption has been removed, but the weapon's origin and the possibility of further dimensional damage are unresolved.
