Cultivation

By Seth Ring

The third entry in Battle Mage Farmer finds John within striking distance of triggering an apocalypse: his doom points sit at 95 of 100, linked to an unusual ability that lets him channel mana directly through his lungs, and a sentient plant adviser in the Shadow Tower begins investigating why the count occasionally falls. While John and Ellie work to complete a wheat-growing quest and attend a village inquiry into Sven's death at the claws of a disguised monster, the adviser develops a theory that John's uniquely pure mana is slowly poisoning the world's mana pool, and that his sense of belonging somehow slows the effect. John and Ellie test the idea by sharing and blending their mana together, buying time while the cause remains unsolved. Their research is interrupted by the arrival of Katrine, a legendary wind mage and old ally, who brings news of a coup in her homeland and a growing threat from a necromancer-led faction called Infinitum.
