Dragon Heart - Book 13: Demon City

By Kirill Klevanski, Valeria Kornosenko

The thirteenth entry in the Dragon Heart series finds Hadjar living under an assumed name years later, teaching swordsmanship in the town of Sedent while quietly racing to develop his own true sword style before his artificially aged body fails him. When a gravely wounded demon hunter seeks his help and demons besiege the school in pursuit of her, Hadjar allies with her against local pressure to investigate the Nightmare Trench, a site blamed for spreading a blight through the region. The trench proves to be a passage into a hidden Demon City where humans are enslaved under a duke ruling from a fortified castle, and the pair set out disguised as a married couple to work their way into his presence.
