Germination

By Seth Ring

Germination continues John's efforts to grow and protect Sutton Farm, where his mana-enriched wheat remains too dangerous to eat and a strange, intelligent plant appears linked to the unusual intelligence of two of his animal companions. While Ellie prepares for a dangerous ritual to complete her interrupted training as a witch, and John builds machinery to speed up the harvest, John and his farmhand Thomas also uncover evidence that a serial killer, likely a powerful magic user, has been operating in the valley since winter. As the farm's growing cheese business draws trade with the city of Kingsmouth, a supply caravan bound there comes under attack from undead forces working for a hidden necromantic power.
