Hunger

By Nicoli Gonnella

The third Unbound novel follows Felix Nevarre as he returns from the void to the walled city of Harwatch, carrying a hostile entity called the Maw that he can only barely contain within himself. Wanted by the Inquisition after a chaotic entry into the city, Felix goes into hiding in its poorer quarter, forging new alliances, learning the basics of magic and language, and searching for the surviving allies who fought beside him in the Foglands. As a wave of dangerous creatures breaches the city walls, Felix is forced into open combat that exposes his growing hunger and a frightening physical transformation, drawing the attention of both the Inquisition hunting him and a mysterious, unnervingly capable ally who claims a deeper connection to the forces at work.
