Infinite Warship

By Scott Bartlett, Joshua James

The third book in the Starship Omega series follows Bill as he continues freeing enslaved humans from Imperial mining camps aboard the ship Omega, using dangerous faster-than-light surge jumps to strike undefended targets. After one rescue turns into a massacre meant to show that the Empire will kill captives sooner than free them, civilian leaders aboard Omega press Bill to abandon the raids and seek a safe world instead, but he insists on continuing the campaign. In parallel, the Imperial court struggles with the fallout of Omega's victories, as officials maneuver against each other and against a mysterious escaped prisoner with his own grievance against the throne. When Omega commits to freeing another camp, it faces a much larger enemy fleet, forcing its crew to weigh how much more the battered ship and its refugee population can withstand.
