Limitless Lands Book 4: Opposition

The fourth entry in the Limitless Lands series follows Commander Raytak as he expands and fortifies his territory around Hayden's Knoll and Holdfast, accepting an Imperium quest to bring the surrounding zone fully under his control. Exploring the frontier, his Legion encounters a contained but unresolved threat inside old mountain ruins, an uncertain population of ogres and elves along the eastern border, and a rival dark overlord conscripted by a coercive imp patron into conquering unclaimed territory nearby. A separate imp offers Raytak dangerous power in exchange for a future contract; when he refuses, the encounter turns hostile. Meanwhile, in the real world, three university students running rival zones as part of the same medical experiment learn they will each receive graduate scholarships for their governance work and can keep playing afterward, an outcome that reshapes their ongoing rivalry.
