The fifth entry in the Limitless Lands series opens as a neighboring overlord, bound by a coercive pact to an underground patron, assembles an invasion force of subterranean troops and mercenaries to move against Hayden's Knoll. Commander Raytak strengthens the settlement's garrison, upgrades its defenses with new magic and equipment, and confirms that an old, contained threat linked to the town's dungeon remains sealed away rather than freed. An allied council of dwarves, tribes, and players commits to a defense plan built around the zone's vulnerable transition points, but a scouting mission sent to assess the enemy's numbers is wiped out before it can report back, leaving the defenders without confirmed intelligence as the invasion begins.
