The third entry in the Mage Tank series finds Arlo's party working to escape a strange, higher-stakes dungeon after an earlier ordeal, applying a growing set of magical evolutions as the dungeon's exit conditions grow more demanding under mounting time pressure. Split from the rest of the group during a maze-like trial, Arlo and an ally uncover a linked pair of shrines tied to hundreds of dormant souls, then face a gauntlet of escalating, disturbingly intelligent enemy waves largely on their own while the others fight through a separate, equally demanding trial elsewhere. Reunited, the group presses toward the dungeon's central stage, where they encounter a powerful entity offering knowledge in exchange for their cooperation.
