Mandate of Heaven

By Selkie Myth

The eleventh entry in the Beneath the Dragoneye Moons series follows Elaine, now known as War Sentinel Dawn, as she gains a powerful new class and begins settling into her role as a Legion's battlefield healer, while working out the practical limits of her formidable but resource-constrained magic. She takes in Nina, a young kitsune rescued from the streets, and helps guide her toward training as a squire under Iona, balancing that mentorship against clinic work, gang trouble, and Nina's own uneven progress. As Dawn builds trust with her legion commander and community, she also prepares to leave on a recruitment mission to a distant land in search of someone who may share her unusual origins.
