Mark of the Fool 3

The third entry in the Mark of the Fool series follows Alex through the end of his first year at the University of Generasi as he and his combat cabal pass a demanding practical exam against a massive dune worm, deepen his relationship with Theresa, and begin preparing for a prospective research expedition back to his home kingdom of Tameland. Over the summer he expands his magical study into blood magic and summoning, builds a small monster-hunting business with Theresa, and uncovers a hired conspiracy sabotaging a noble estate. Along the way he confronts uncomfortable questions about the cost of using his growing power against other people.
