Alex's partner, an accomplished hunter and expedition fighter. Theresa accompanies him into Greymoor, understands the danger surrounding his hidden identity, and is prepared to defend him and protect his secret.

Claygon (Supporting)

Tameland's overarching hostile power, directing dungeon cores and Ravener spawn against its enemies. At the opening of the campaign, the Ravener gives special priority to an unidentified usurper and dispatches its remaining hunter in the realm.

Ravener hunter (Antagonist)

An intelligent assassin and field commander serving the Ravener. It is sent south with silent spiders and venom walkers to find and kill the being its master calls the usurper.

Brutus (Supporting)

Theresa's hunting companion and a keen tracker for the expedition. Brutus helps detect danger in Greymoor, including the scent of a decaying body near the expedition's route, and provides dependable support when the survey team enters uncertain terrain.

Khalik (Supporting)

One of Alex's expedition allies and a combat mage assigned to the Witherhand Bog survey.

Isolde (Supporting)

An expedition mage and member of Alex's survey team in Witherhand Bog. Isolde works alongside Alex's closest companions as they investigate the former dungeon and the intelligent predator occupying the surrounding wetlands.

Blue anise hag of Witherhand Bog (Antagonist)

The cannibalistic illusion mage who attacked Alex's team in Witherhand Bog. Identified as a blue anise hag after retreating from her defeated guardians, she abandons a lair filled with monster-made weapons, disturbing furnishings, and a captive local fey.

A sunlight-vulnerable local fey rescued from the blue anise hag's cage. Rather than claim a life debt, Alex asks for local knowledge and neighborly relations.

First Apostle (Antagonist)

Leader of a secret order within the Church of Uldar. The First Apostle authorizes covert observation of Greymoor, preferring lay agents over an open priestly presence while the order searches for the missing Fool and watches Generasi's discoveries.

Third Apostle (Antagonist)

An investigator in Uldar's concealed apostolic order, responsible for reporting on Generasi and the marked heroes. The Third Apostle views the missing Fool, the expedition, and the Ravener's unusual aggression as connected signs requiring discreet attention.

A powerful fey ruler approached by Cedric, Drestra, and Merzhin for military assistance. The Fae Lord receives the heroes in a magically tailored hall and immediately questions why the Champion and Fool are absent.

Hart Red Fletcher (Supporting)

Uldar's Champion and a front-line hero commanding knights and rangers against Ravener threats. Hart carries a blade made from a Hive Queen claw and follows a trail left by an unknown armed group after defeating a force of chitterers.

A lava mage and expedition combatant whose survey team recovers a chitterer found observing Greymoor. The specimen gives Professor Jules a new lead on whether the Ravener has begun scouting the university's growing foothold.

Bubbles (Supporting)

Blood hydra (Antagonist)

A nine-headed, airborne blood-drak commander leading the assault near the paired dungeons. Its spilled blood carries disease, and wounds that are not burned can regenerate.

Chitterer dungeon core (Antagonist)

The target at the bottom of a concealed chitterer stronghold. Magical reconnaissance finds the core guarded within an extensive tunnel network filled with spawn, victims' remains, refuse, and secret passages.

Two windmill blue anise hags (Antagonist)

Two blue anise hags who form a voluntary alliance with the Ravener hunter after a third hag dies in their first clash. They provide local intelligence about the expedition and its dangerous fighters.

Professor Val’Rok (Supporting)

Alex's former mana-manipulation professor. Val’Rok evaluates his advanced control and agrees to teach him the foundations of faster mana regeneration.

Stefan (Minor)

Hive Queen (Antagonist)

A bladed Ravener-spawn commander leading the windmill ambush force. The Hive Queen attacks Alex with webs while directing the other spawn against him.
