Sharp and habitually secretive, she is the person the older Bayview crew still call when something needs to be found online, and she keeps her own worries strictly to herself.

Maeve's closest friend and, briefly, her boyfriend, an easygoing Bayview student who interns at Until Proven, the legal nonprofit that defended Nate Macauley. Self-deprecating to the point of treating himself as the least interesting person in any room, he is less certain of what he wants than he lets anyone see.
