Raze

By Dakota Krout

Fourth in The Completionist Chronicles series. Honored by the king for his role in ending an uprising, Joe finds his standing complicated by an unexplained loss of magical power and a demand from his deity to repay an enormous debt of divine energy after an unsanctioned resurrection. When the game world's residents discover they can no longer log out, Joe turns his ritual-crafting skills toward urgent problems: building emergency housing, clearing a dungeon to secure a mining resource for his guild, and organizing a large-scale food-production effort to feed thousands of stranded people before winter. Alongside returning companions and new allies, Joe works to secure materials, blueprints, and land for the settlement's survival, even as new threats, including a forced duel with a rival deity's champion, test how far his resources can stretch.
