Tears of Liscor
By pirateaba
The ninth entry in The Wandering Inn opens just after Erin and her allies free captive Gnolls from the Raskgar, including the traumatized Mrsha, alongside the rescued Ceria. While Liscor celebrates the victory, Erin opens a peaceful meadow retreat through her magical door where the rescued survivors and the Goblin allies who helped free them can begin to recover, drawing adventurers and townsfolk from several communities into an impromptu gathering. A separate thread follows a Goblin chieftain leading her tribe on a forced march after clashing with human cavalry, as she navigates uneasy alliances and rivalries with other Goblin factions. Meanwhile, Liscor's leadership works through the political and financial fallout of the Goblins' role in the rescue, including a disputed reward payment.
