The Land: Forging

By Aleron Kong

The second entry in the Chaos Seeds LitRPG series continues following Richter, a village leader building alliances in a fantasy land governed by game-like systems of levels, skills and quests. After sealing a friendship pact with the wood sprites led by Hisako, Richter takes on a request to clear goblins and bugbears menacing their forest and agrees to help revive a pixie chrysalis the sprites cannot safely restore on their own. He begins sword training under Yoshi, a half-sprite, half-human warrior, while managing his own growing settlement with the help of his chamberlain Randolphus and his companion Terrod. Elsewhere, an antagonistic royal court called the Light Court, unaware of Richter, detects faint traces of chaos energy tied to his world and learns of the pixie chrysalis's location in the same region, though it has sent no agents there yet.
