The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound

By Noret Flood, puddles4263

The first entry in The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound opens as a game-like System takes hold of Earth and pulls a twenty-year-old engineering student named Randidly into a dangerous Underground Jungle dungeon, wounded and without any of the class or level the System typically grants. He fortifies a safe room around a healing pool, forages and trains cautiously against monsters far above his ability, and gradually builds skills, potions, and gear from what he scavenges. An injured, far stronger traveler named Shal later takes refuge in the same safe room, and the two strike a bargain: Randidly supplies food in exchange for Shal's promise, once recovered, to escort him to the dungeon's exit. When the exit turns him away for having no class, Shal proposes another way out: train together and fight through the dungeon's dangers toward its boss.
