An unnamed Donnyton fighter who removes a defeated raid boss's soul and turns its beetle body into a controlled, undead-like asset.

A self-styled hero known only through Desmond's unverified account. Desmond claims Roy is north of the Badlands with Ace and Randidly's other missing friend, but nothing at this point independently confirms Roy's identity, conduct, or companions.

A strategist and representative of Donnyton's non-classed residents. After a costly assault, she questions whether classless leaders can responsibly continue without classes.

Iron-ball fighter (Minor)

An unnamed classless combatant who fights with an iron ball. During Donnyton's raid-force trial, he completes a path and acquires stamina-related willpower abilities.

Rabbit-like envoy (Supporting)

A rabbit-like representative from another world who reaches Donnyton seeking its leaders and a goodwill exchange.

Riverdrop Puma (Minor)

A hunted royal cub that Dozer encounters during a prescribed pet mission. Rather than follow the expected route, he abandons the mission's instructions to rescue it, opening the possibility that the survivor may become his companion.

Tomcat's leading spear fighter, who confronts the escaping prisoners. He accepts Shal's promise to return in six months and answer a life-debt for the guards killed.

Crashing Wave artisan (Supporting)

A Crashing Wave style artisan and business contact of the local engraver. The artisan receives Randidly's engraved armor and proposes telling him about the origins of Shal's style.

Spear Phantom founder (Supporting)

First appears in chapter 89

A determined Central Region spear user and father of two sons, including Shal. After the mother of his children is murdered, he flees north with both boys.

Tommy (Supporting)

The name of Randidly's male spear attendant, revealed when the boat owner addresses him during training. Formerly a Heavy Iron disciple, he continues challenging stronger companions while developing the defensive image behind Bulwark of Iron.
