The Primal Hunter 14

By Zogarth

The fourteenth book in The Primal Hunter series opens as Earth finishes its Prima Guardian trial just as the Milky Way erupts into open multiversal war between the Malefic Viper's order and the rival god Yip of Yore, whose Chosen Ell'Hakan has been rapidly claiming influence across the galaxy. When the Malefic Viper is exposed as weakened after secretly intervening to help Jake, the two construct an elaborate deception: Jake will publicly appear to defect from his patron and seek protection with the rival faction Valhal, using real evidence of his own strange bond with the Viper to make the betrayal believable. Jake travels with his allies Carmen and Sylphie to a Valhal-controlled world to open negotiations with Ell'Hakan directly, working to secure a temporary galactic truce while keeping his true loyalties hidden from everyone but a handful of trusted confidants.
