The Primal Hunter 3
By Zogarth
The third entry in The Primal Hunter series follows Jake beyond the tutorial as he explores a monster-filled cloud continent with his hawk companion Hawkie, hunting Cloud Elementals and developing new mana-based attacks to compensate for his lack of magical firepower. While Jake is away, his small settlement, led by city lord Miranda, takes in a stronger group of tutorial survivors fleeing a rival faction that wants back a powerful artifact one of them carries. When that pursuing force arrives in overwhelming numbers and lays siege to the settlement, Miranda triggers an emergency claim on the settlement's pylon to summon Jake home before the defenders' barriers can be broken. Elsewhere, the god who mentors Jake, the Malefic Viper, works to rebuild and consolidate his order and moves to confront a rival deity.
