The Witch of Webs

The twelfth entry in The Wandering Inn continues in the aftermath of a costly battle, as Durene wakes from a feverish, near-fatal infection to find that fifty-one days have passed and her fiance Laken has left Riverfarm with a convoy of goblin prisoners. As Durene works to steady the rapidly growing but politically fragile settlement, the witch Wiscaria faces pressure to rejoin a coven she has resisted, and rumors of unrest circle Riverfarm's uneasy population. Elsewhere, the goblin Numbtongue forms an unlikely friendship with a resurrected Antinium soldier and earns a new class built around preserving the memory of his fallen companions, while the runner Ryoka sets out to deliver urgently needed medicine to Riverfarm as suspicion and violence against witches spread through the countryside.
