The tenth entry in The Completionist Chronicles continues the story of Joe, a Ritual Architect and councilman of the growing settlement Novusheim, as he balances town development with an urgent personal search. After a letter reveals that his associate Daniela is being held against her will at a distant settlement, Joe sets out with allies to establish long-range travel through a network of linked shrines, hoping to reach her before communication goes silent entirely. Along the way Joe experiments with new rituals and magic, including a fast but ethically troubling method for locating Daniela that his friends work to talk him out of using, while continuing to expand Novusheim's defenses against escalating monster attacks.
