Novusheim's dwarven leader and an authority on dangerous magical work. She permits the imprisoned dwarven master to assist Joe for limited daily sessions, while requiring formal review of their finished designs.
Jake (Minor)

An alchemist associated with the Pyramid of Panacea. When Joe's intelligence binding fails, Jake supplies substances for removing and replacing it but bars the impaired Joe from using the Pyramid's equipment.
Trevor (Minor)

A human assigned to escort Joe while Joe poses as a merchant in an elf-aligned settlement. Trevor explains the recent influx of respawned people and is visibly wary of statements that could be read as criticism of the theocracy.
Elven cleric (Antagonist)

A senior elf who confronts Joe inside the settlement devoted to the elven theocracy. He is powerful enough to remove Joe's temporary neutrality concealment and demands that Joe explain his presence.
Nimue (Supporting)

Socar's feline familiar and a participant in the planning for Daniela's extraction. Concern for Nimue helps determine Socar's refusal to enter Middle Village during the operation.
