This Inevitable Ruin

By Matt Dinniman

The seventh entry in the Dungeon Crawler Carl series finds Carl and Donut settling into the ninth floor's dungeon city of Laracos as newly minted warlords of the ragtag Princess Posse, forced into faction wars against a coalition of hostile teams. While recruiting crawlers, building alliances with the city's awakened NPCs, and preparing defenses before a ceasefire expires, Carl must also contend with a dangerous entity trapped in his chest tattoo that is increasingly able to act through him without his consent. As the countdown to open warfare ticks away, Carl and his allies scramble to fortify their new stronghold, secure allies among the local factions, and ready themselves for an assault by a much larger and better-equipped enemy force.
