Ultimate Level 1: Ultimate Boundaries

The eighth entry in Ultimate Level 1 finds Max returning with his party to Igarra's world to reclaim a role he had left behind, only to learn that his appointed champion was killed and a powerful wolfkin ruler now controls the city and its teleporter. Max hides his companions and challenges the ruler to single combat, spending the day before the fight forging a legendary, multi-element weapon with a dwarven weaponsmith to have any chance against the ruler's near-impervious metallic body. In a televised duel watched across thousands of worlds, Max survives a shrinking arena and a stacking curse before killing the ruler and reclaiming Igarra as its champion. He then must decide what to do about the world's brutal, arena-based social order.
