Ultimate Level 1: Ultimate Dreams

By Shawn Wilson

The ninth entry in Ultimate Level 1 opens with Max, Tanila, Fowl, and Batrire launching a rescue mission after Cordelia is abducted by elves, with Tanila taking the lead because the trail runs through her own royal family. Tanila formally challenges her estranged sister to a duel to draw the compound's attention while Max slips in to free Cordelia, and the party escapes after Tanila nearly kills her sister in the fight. The rescue escalates into open conflict with elven factions until a warning from the human god redirects Max toward finishing the tower instead of pursuing revenge. As the party pushes deeper into the tower, still supporting Cordelia through the trauma of her captivity, they find an unusual floor split between a flooded valley and a mechanical world above the clouds, where a dispute over a stolen power crystal draws Max into an uncertain choice about which side to trust.
